Saturday we were able to escape our dwellings, so we skated the warehouse, the park, and a little street. Here's a video for the non-believers.

I was watching Drilbit Taylor a few nights ago and thought I recognized a spot in the movie. So I hit up youtube and found an old Tosh Townend part. Put them together and this is what I got.

For those of you who haven't heard, Ryan Meyer and a couple of guys are biking(bicycles) across America. They started here in Manitowoc and are making their way to Oregon. They left a few weeks ago and at last check in they were in Neilsville, WI. That was on the 16th, so stay tuned for more updates on their adventure.

A speeder who attempted to evade police early Saturday morning struck a police vehicle and fought with an officer before he was apprehended, according to a news release from Deputy Chief Bridget Brennan of the Manitowoc Police Department.

According to Brennan:

An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on the South 10th Street Bridge. The vehicle, driven by 20-year-old Gerson Valdez-Sandoval, turned right onto Washington Street, into the parking lot of Pizza Hut and proceeded to travel down a 6-foot embankment into the lot of the Manitowoc City Metro Bus Station. The vehicle then turned southbound on South 11th Street and struck the police vehicle in the front end.
